PARIS, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Top seed Simona Halep's 17-game winning streak was snapped on Sunday at Roland Garros, as the Romanian ended her run for a third major title 6-1, 6-2 following a devastating performance from Iga Swiatek in the women's singles fourth-round match.
The emerging powerhouse tamed Hebei by a 44-point gap on Friday. Center Li Yueru shot 10 of 12 from the field to finish with a game-high 21 points. Chen Liyu helped with 16. Wei Wei nailed 14 points off the bench.
The pair have not played for their country since the Cafeteros' penalty shootout defeat to Chile in the quarterfinals of last year's Copa America in Brazil.
